Villa Mikayla is a beautiful and modern villa located only a few minutes walk from the Finns Beach Club and “downtown” Canggu.

There are basically two types of villas you can choose from when you travel to Bali. A pool is mandatory, so that does not count, even though pools comes in different sizes and depths. But you basically will have to choose between an open and closed villa. And by that I am referring to if the kitchen and living rooms are opened or closed.

Your own staff

Villa Mikayla was the second time we had a closed villa. The first was the Huu Villas in Petitenget. A smaller villa and part of a smaller resort. Villa Mikayla was a huge villa with a large swimming pool, an enormous living room, full sized kitchen with everything you need to cook. And on top of that, three king sized bedrooms with separate bathrooms.

And if that is not enough – and to our surprise – your very own staff to help you out with everything you want from early in the morning until sunset.

Villa Mikayla is the largest villa we have stayed at so far during our holidays in Bali. The villa it self is fantastic. It is located very close to the beach. To Finns Beach Club. To the amazing yoga resort, Desa Seni. To shops, restaurants and cafés and to one of the best supermarkets in Canggu – Canggu station. The staff where very helpful. With everything from renting a scooter, arranging a BBQ at home and booking a car and driver for a day trip.

We had an amazing time for almost two weeks in Villa Mikayla and became very good friends with the Villa Manager and the staff.

Can highly recommend staying at Villa Mikayla.

Open vs closed

We loved staying at Villa Mikayla. We loved having the possibility to “close out” the warm air and temperature from time to time. Villa Mikayla was the third villa we stayed in during our Bali holiday in 2018, and the only closed one. And if you don’t want to have it closed, you can always slide open the huge glass doors.

Villa Mikayla made our stay in Canggu very pleasant and nice. This was also the first time we experienced having a staff with us throughout the day. They made the stay truly a luxurious one.
