Norefjell Ski and Spa is a just a two hours drive away from Oslo, and a perfect place for business and pleasure. All by your self, with your better half or with your family and friends, Norefjell Ski and Spa is a wonderful place the whole year around.

We have been to Norefjell Ski and Spa to celebrate news years ewe. We have skied here in January, February, March and April. And we have gone hiking in the mountains during the easter. Norefjell Ski and Spa has it all. Not too far away from our home in Oslo, it is a perfect place to relax for the weekend.

Norefjell Ski and Spa

Norefjell Ski and Spa is a huge resort. You can stay at the hotell where you can chose from several different rooms, suites and to a two-bedroom apartment. Within the resort you will find all sorts of things to do, from the spa, to their training facilities, swimming pool and the popular indoor climbing wall, which the kids in particular love. Next time I will definitely take with me my DJI Mavic Pro to make a few new videos – and pictures….

We have been to Norefjell Ski and Spa several times. It has become one of our favorite places. Our kids feel at home here, and they are never bored.

“Our apartment”

A few times, when we have visited Norefjell Ski and Spa with friends and family, we have rented a two-bedroom apartment with a room next door attached. That gives us basically a huge apartment with two bathrooms and three bedrooms, including a kitchen, dining room and a living room. Each apartment has a large kitchen with a dining area. Big sofa and two large chairs in the living room with a flat screen TV and a gas fireplace. Two separate bedrooms with place for 4 persons. In “our” bedroom there is also a large free standing bathtub. And a big terrace to enjoy the sunset after a long day out.

The small lake just outside of the resort becomes a great place for cross country skiing for the youngest during the winter.

Marianne and I spent an easter on Norefjell Ski and Spa alone.

Norefjell Ski and Spa

Beautiful weather. Perfect conditions for some cross-country skiing. And with the perfect company. Norefjell Ski and Spa “recharges” your batteries instantly.

At Norefjell Ski and Spa you can chose to go cross country skiing for a few minutes to several hours. If you haven’t tried it, it is time!

It doesn’t become more Norwegian than this. Although hot coco (and hot dogs over an open fireplace) is missing from the picture.

Cross country or alpin? You can off course chose from both. On the other side of the mountain in the back, you will also find Norefjell alpin, with many more slopes to chose from. All with direct access from Norefjell Ski and Spa.

Enjoy yourselves at Norefjell Ski and Spa

After a long day out, you will love getting in to just relax. Perhaps with a cup of coffee, or maybe with a drink from the bar.

Norefjell Ski and Spa

Breakfast in the morning. Dinner in the evening. You have basically everything you want and need at Norefjell Ski and Spa. Regardless of the season. No wonder we keep coming back.

Even the sunsets are beautiful here.

Writing about Norefjell Ski and Spa makes me want to come back. Which is what we are definitely going to do also. Several times. During winter, spring, summer and autumn. Norefjell Ski and Spa is not only close to Oslo, but it is a perfect place to spend som quality time together. With your “better half”. With your kids, family and friends. Or with your colleagues.
